Why do I need a logo?
You logo should be original, recognizable and a reflection of your
business and the person behind that vision. We live in a very visual
world, most people will remeber an image more readily than mere text.
Why should I contract you to create my logo?
I do not offer the "stock image" type logos made with ready made images
that 1,000's of other businesses can use. I refuse to offer the "cookie
cutter
logo" styles.
I create a logo that truly reflects your vision, a visual statement of
who you are and what you represent. Totally unique to you,
original, distinctive and creative. I create for the passion behind the
business dream, not merely a graphic image with text on it.
My portfolio will show my diverse style, no two logos are alike.
What type of logo package options do you
offer?
You can have a strictly web logo package or a web and print package.
Logo design rates are from $300.00 and up depending on your needs.

What is a Domain name?
A domain name is
your address on the internet. No one else can have the same address.
Usually your domain name is your business name, but many find that
using a popular description works for them on the search engines.
Is the
domain name cost included in your services?
No,
your purchase your domain name directly from the registar.
I
will offer reliable registar links or you are free to deal whith
whichever registar you wish.
What
is the cost of a
domain name?
Domain
names can range from $1.99 a year and up.
Do I
get hosting with
my domain name?
Only
if you decide to deal with the registar for hosting. Usually a registar
will offer a discount on the domain name purchase if you subscribe to
their hosting plan as well. Rates vary from company to company. I will
assist you with options that will best suit your needs.

do I need a web site?
More and more people are
using the internet. And with the explosion of the cell phone industry,
even more so than before. Now anyone can browse a web page anywhere
they go. Why shouldn't that web page tell them about your business or
service?
A web site offers immediate information for an immediate gradification
world. Regardless of your business hours, site visitors can learn about
you, your services, contact information, location, hours and more. All
of this on their terms, their timeframe and at their convenience. It's
like offering customer service while you are closed. The more you offer
them the better your chances are of them becoming a customer or client.

This is when you offer information about your service/ business with

How long does it take
to create a web site?
After you have
had a logo designed and
your domain and hosting are arranged. Providing all of your text is
editing and ready to post. After all of your images are editing and
prepared for web presentation, I can complete a site in 7 to 10 days.
Larger sites require more time. Contact me with your needs and I will
give you an accurate estimate of time and rates.
Do
you have convenient hours?
Yes, I am working while the others have closed for the night. I am
available nights/ weekends and holidays.
Many people starting a new online business are still working for
someone else. Because I understand the time limitations you might deal
with I offer late night hours un til 4am if required.
Do
you charge by the hour?
No, I charge by the project. I give you an estimate of the cost and
time involved and offer you optional features that you can add to that
price if you wish. I require half up front and the remainder after the
site is complete. Site will open to the public after final payment is
made.
How
do I pay you?
I accept all major credit cards; Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American
Express and Paypal. You can also send Money orders or business checks,
this will delay the start of your web site project and delay the
opening of the site until the payments have cleared the bank.
Will
I own my site?
YES!!!! You will be sent a copy of your site, all images and files.
You will also have all passwords and access to your site when paid and
complete.
How
will I maintain my web site?
I can do maintence, updates, run the site completely or you can do your
own updates if you know how.
I also offer my clients lesson on how to edit and manage their own
site. Depending on the degree of teaching necessary, I have different
rates.
What is SEO?
Short
for search engine optimization, the process of increasing the amount of
visitors to a Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. It is done
internally and externally to increase your ranking on the sear5ch
engines.
The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the
chance that that site will be visited by a user. It is common practice
for Internet users to not click through pages and pages of search
results, so where a site ranks in a search is essential for directing
more traffic toward the site.
SEO
helps to ensure that a site is accessible to a search engine and
improves the chances that the site will be found by the search engine.
